Hello, I'm Charles Curves, Australasian passion provocateur.
2
0:00:24
0:00:31
Welcome to this week's episode of the Charles Curves Show, Episode 140.
3
0:00:31
0:00:41
In this week's episode, I explore the complexity of living systems and living things and the
4
0:00:41
0:00:44
tendency to simplify.
5
0:00:44
0:00:48
But simplicity often leads to instability.
6
0:00:48
0:00:53
In fact, most times it leads to instability.
7
0:00:53
0:01:01
We want simplicity, but the rush to simplicity to make our lives easier to understand often
8
0:01:01
0:01:05
ends up in disaster and death.
9
0:01:05
0:01:08
Human cells are complex.
10
0:01:08
0:01:16
The functioning of human cells in your body is complex.
11
0:01:16
0:01:18
Soil is complex.
12
0:01:18
0:01:21
The world's climate is complex.
13
0:01:21
0:01:27
Settling termites to save your timber is simple.
14
0:01:27
0:01:32
But without termites, our planet would struggle in many, many ways.
15
0:01:32
0:01:35
In fact, it wouldn't survive.
16
0:01:35
0:01:40
The solution is to embrace complexity and live with it.
17
0:01:40
0:01:48
Develop a mindset that is hungry to learn about complexity and to harness that complexity
18
0:01:48
0:01:53
to gain the rewards of deep understanding.
19
0:01:53
0:01:59
So welcome to this week's show, whether you're watching on YouTube, on Rumble, listening
20
0:01:59
0:02:02
via podcast.
21
0:02:02
0:02:04
We're happy that you're here.
22
0:02:04
0:02:10
Our format for the show is that firstly, I share today's big idea.
23
0:02:10
0:02:17
Then I share six resources to help you implement the thinking behind the big idea.
24
0:02:17
0:02:21
Thirdly, I review some key happenings during the past week.
25
0:02:21
0:02:26
And then the fourth part is for newer viewers and listeners where I cover some background
26
0:02:26
0:02:31
information about me and the foundational principles for this show.
27
0:02:31
0:02:37
Regular viewers and listeners know that detail, so they don't have to stick around for that
28
0:02:37
0:02:38
last bit.
29
0:02:38
0:02:43
So let's go with today's big idea.
30
0:02:43
0:02:49
All aspects of living things and life itself are complex.
31
0:02:49
0:02:57
Trying to find simple solutions to complex matters creates instability and chaos.
32
0:02:57
0:03:01
Let me give you three practical examples.
33
0:03:01
0:03:05
Firstly, termites in your house and spraying them.
34
0:03:05
0:03:10
It's a simple solution to spray the termites and kill them all.
35
0:03:10
0:03:16
Well, what would happen if there were no termites on the planet if we killed all the termites?
36
0:03:16
0:03:19
Well, the answer is soil.
37
0:03:19
0:03:22
Termites are fantastic soil engineers.
38
0:03:22
0:03:29
Many worms and termites and living things are wonderful aerators of soil.
39
0:03:29
0:03:37
Where we run around spraying and killing in a simple way a complex fact that soil is complex
40
0:03:37
0:03:45
and the way that termites play a role in soil, making it usable by human beings.
41
0:03:45
0:03:52
So not understanding that complexity, embracing the simple solution of just kill and spray
42
0:03:52
0:03:58
and kill causes significant instability.
43
0:03:58
0:04:01
Second example, cancer.
44
0:04:01
0:04:05
Cancer seems to be increasing despite all the money that's being put into it.
45
0:04:05
0:04:06
Cancer very simple solution.
46
0:04:06
0:04:08
Let's cut out the cancer.
47
0:04:08
0:04:16
Let's inundate the body with radiation and chemicals and kill the cancer.
48
0:04:16
0:04:20
Just like we kill the termites, kill the cancer.
49
0:04:20
0:04:25
However, many of you will know cases where the patient dies and the medical fraternity
50
0:04:25
0:04:28
says it was the cancer that killed him.
51
0:04:28
0:04:33
I say in many cases it's the treatment that killed the patient.
52
0:04:33
0:04:40
The human body, the functioning of human cells is incredibly complex and the medical profession
53
0:04:40
0:04:48
to its shame refuses to accept solutions and possibilities that are outside their existing
54
0:04:48
0:04:51
areas of thinking.
55
0:04:51
0:04:54
There's huge amounts of evidence for that.
56
0:04:54
0:04:58
So the simple solution causes great instability.
57
0:04:58
0:05:02
It causes people to collapse and of course to die.
58
0:05:02
0:05:11
The third example of complexity reduced to simplicity is that carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
59
0:05:11
0:05:18
is firstly causing global warming, then global, sorry, first global cooling in the 70s, then
60
0:05:18
0:05:19
global warming.
61
0:05:19
0:05:22
But when that fraud has disappeared, now it's a climate emergency.
62
0:05:22
0:05:24
Simple, isn't it?
63
0:05:24
0:05:27
CO2 up, climate emergency up.
64
0:05:27
0:05:29
I call BS on that.
65
0:05:29
0:05:32
There is no climate emergency.
66
0:05:32
0:05:35
The climate is incredibly complex.
67
0:05:35
0:05:41
To say that one factor, CO2, carbon dioxide, and then they're slipping into the methane
68
0:05:41
0:05:47
bit is causing climate emergency is simply fake.
69
0:05:47
0:05:49
It's BS.
70
0:05:49
0:05:55
If we embrace that principle of simplicity, oh, let's bring down the CO2, it's causing
71
0:05:55
0:05:57
massive instability.
72
0:05:58
0:06:01
Let me give you one example.
73
0:06:01
0:06:07
Cost of electricity is going up.
74
0:06:07
0:06:10
Affordability goes down.
75
0:06:10
0:06:14
Electricity is the foundational difference between rich and poor countries.
76
0:06:14
0:06:18
If GDP goes down, people become poorer.
77
0:06:18
0:06:22
Massive instability, everybody.
78
0:06:22
0:06:27
Complexity cannot be eliminated in many, many environments.
79
0:06:27
0:06:30
In some, of course, it can.
80
0:06:30
0:06:32
And that's wonderful to find those opportunities.
81
0:06:32
0:06:37
And my quote this week, I'll mention that later as well, but my quote this week is that
82
0:06:37
0:06:43
Albert Einstein, the great Albert Einstein recommended to make things as simple as possible,
83
0:06:43
0:06:45
but no simpler.
84
0:06:45
0:06:51
As simple as possible, but no simpler.
85
0:06:51
0:06:56
The human body is incredibly complex.
86
0:06:56
0:07:00
I've been dealing with doctors for many years.
87
0:07:00
0:07:06
In fact, 1975, I was a legal advisor to many doctors to help them minimize their income
88
0:07:06
0:07:07
tax.
89
0:07:07
0:07:12
And for the last 10 years, I've particularly had dealings with the health profession and
90
0:07:12
0:07:22
with wise, integrative doctors versus narrow minded, narrow minded, non thinking doctors
91
0:07:22
0:07:25
who simply follow protocols.
92
0:07:25
0:07:28
The human body is incredibly complex.
93
0:07:28
0:07:31
And doctors who say, oh, yeah, we understand all how it works.
94
0:07:31
0:07:33
I call BS on that.
95
0:07:33
0:07:36
Another element is soil.
96
0:07:36
0:07:38
Soil is incredibly complex.
97
0:07:38
0:07:39
Take a handful of soil.
98
0:07:39
0:07:40
My dad taught me this.
99
0:07:40
0:07:42
And you know, I love, I love the planet.
100
0:07:42
0:07:43
I love soil.
101
0:07:43
0:07:44
I love this planet that we're living on.
102
0:07:44
0:07:48
In fact, I've been an organic farmer since 1976.
103
0:07:48
0:07:51
Take a handful of living soil.
104
0:07:51
0:07:56
It's got millions of microbes in it, a fungi of bacteria.
105
0:07:56
0:07:59
It's incredibly complex.
106
0:07:59
0:08:03
And then we go and chemicalize that, spray it and kill it.
107
0:08:03
0:08:06
Kill all the living parts of it.
108
0:08:06
0:08:09
Kill all the cells of the soil in a way.
109
0:08:09
0:08:10
Soil is complex.
110
0:08:10
0:08:14
Climate functions is complex.
111
0:08:14
0:08:17
Climate and global weather patterns are complex.
112
0:08:17
0:08:18
Very complex.
113
0:08:18
0:08:22
Start to read in any depth on these matters.
114
0:08:22
0:08:23
You'll see how complicated it is.
115
0:08:23
0:08:30
This nonsensical idea, CO2 up, climate emergency up, is literally that nonsensical.
116
0:08:30
0:08:39
Then you get the further complex, the further complexity that the quality of the soil then
117
0:08:39
0:08:46
impacts on the quality of the food and that then impacts on the quality of the functioning
118
0:08:46
0:08:48
of your cells.
119
0:08:48
0:08:50
Garbage in, garbage out.
120
0:08:50
0:08:54
Put garbage food into your body, you will have a garbage result.
121
0:08:54
0:08:58
This is all so complex.
122
0:08:58
0:09:04
And we want to embrace simplicity so then the chemical companies come along, just spray
123
0:09:04
0:09:07
this, just nuke it with glyphosate.
124
0:09:07
0:09:09
Just put Roundup on it.
125
0:09:10
0:09:11
Just put more chemicals on it.
126
0:09:11
0:09:14
Just put fungicides, herbicides on it.
127
0:09:14
0:09:17
Let's just kill this stuff so that the only thing that grows is the seed that you put
128
0:09:17
0:09:18
in it.
129
0:09:18
0:09:24
Hello, that's not how nature works because nature is complex.
130
0:09:24
0:09:31
It's a complexity of interrelationships just like your cell.
131
0:09:31
0:09:35
So what's to be made of all this?
132
0:09:35
0:09:40
I say embrace complexity when appropriate.
133
0:09:40
0:09:47
Just like I'm embracing this cup of coffee.
134
0:09:47
0:09:48
Embrace it.
135
0:09:48
0:09:49
Don't be scared of it.
136
0:09:49
0:09:52
And then you say, well, I haven't got the time or energy.
137
0:09:52
0:10:00
Well, part of the challenge is to improve your health so that you have much more energy
138
0:10:00
0:10:04
available to you for you to learn about the areas of life that you are interested in.
139
0:10:04
0:10:11
You can't become an expert in all of it, but don't just accept slavish simple solutions
140
0:10:11
0:10:19
and then support those slavish simple solutions to the instability of humanity, the instability
141
0:10:19
0:10:25
of the planet, and more particularly the instability of your life.
142
0:10:26
0:10:32
Make your decision to embrace complexity.
143
0:10:32
0:10:36
Otherwise you will become unstable.
144
0:10:36
0:10:45
My wish for you is to be a man or woman of power, of integrity, of high self-awareness,
145
0:10:45
0:10:51
of understanding of what your life is about so you have that stability.
146
0:10:51
0:10:53
You embrace the complexity.
147
0:10:53
0:10:59
You live with the uncertainty of complexity.
148
0:10:59
0:11:00
It's a great way to live.
149
0:11:00
0:11:10
And when I picture the climate, the soil, the cells, the food, I get how wonderfully
150
0:11:10
0:11:15
complex I don't go how terrifyingly complex.
151
0:11:15
0:11:20
So let me share some resources for you.
152
0:11:20
0:11:28
The song this week, in one sense, I agree with half of the lyrics behind it.
153
0:11:28
0:11:34
It's by Midnight Oil, famous song, Beds Are Burning.
154
0:11:34
0:11:38
How can we dance when our earth is turning?
155
0:11:38
0:11:42
How do we sleep while our beds are burning?
156
0:11:42
0:11:46
So Beds Are Burning, it's a great song in the sense of the soil.
157
0:11:46
0:11:50
You know, we are damaging our soil.
158
0:11:50
0:11:55
And in Australia, in many countries of the world, the chemicalization of soil, there's
159
0:11:55
0:11:58
nothing to do with climate emergency.
160
0:11:58
0:12:02
This is to do with damaging soil.
161
0:12:02
0:12:08
And our whole lives come from this soil.
162
0:12:08
0:12:16
And the whole chemicalization process, chemicalization can be good in a number of ways, but the civil
163
0:12:16
0:12:21
simplicity of applying broad chemicals is causing us great harm.
164
0:12:21
0:12:24
And I mentioned before, look at the levels of cancer that are happening.
165
0:12:24
0:12:29
Look at the proven links between glyphosate and cancer.
166
0:12:29
0:12:31
So that's the song Beds Are Burning.
167
0:12:31
0:12:39
And as you listen to that song, think about, think about the complexity of the soil and
168
0:12:39
0:12:45
rejuvenating that soil, whatever you can do to play your part in rejuvenating your part
169
0:12:45
0:12:49
of the earth on which you walk.
170
0:12:49
0:12:57
My book this week is not so much a book, but a two part article by Dr. Rob Verkerk, who
171
0:12:57
0:13:03
I interviewed on my TNT radio show on vibrational frequencies.
172
0:13:03
0:13:12
So the book explores the electromagnetic structure of the human body.
173
0:13:12
0:13:21
It's available at a website for the Alliance for Natural Health International, anhinternational.org.
174
0:13:21
0:13:25
Anhinternational.org.
175
0:13:25
0:13:28
Look for those two articles, parts one and parts two.
176
0:13:28
0:13:34
It'll raise your whole awareness about the complexity of your human body, the energetics
177
0:13:34
0:13:42
of your human body, the electromagnetism of your human body and tools and resources
178
0:13:42
0:13:44
mentioned in those articles.
179
0:13:44
0:13:50
And he also talks about the resistance of the medical profession to learning about,
180
0:13:50
0:13:53
you know, learning what the medical profession was.
181
0:13:53
0:13:54
Woo woo.
182
0:13:54
0:13:55
Sure.
183
0:13:55
0:13:59
If medical profession doesn't like it, they criticize it as woo woo.
184
0:13:59
0:14:04
You might also listen to my interview with Rob, a two hour interview on TNT radio.
185
0:14:04
0:14:11
It's available at tntradio.live, where we go deep into these matters.
186
0:14:11
0:14:19
My health tip is to look up C60 capsules, carbon 60 capsules, which are getting lots
187
0:14:19
0:14:22
of rave reviews for detoxing.
188
0:14:22
0:14:30
And I would also recommend going to a health practitioner and being tested on a Vega machine,
189
0:14:30
0:14:31
V E G A.
190
0:14:31
0:14:34
Find a practitioner that uses this.
191
0:14:34
0:14:40
This is vibrational frequency testing to see what your body needs.
192
0:14:40
0:14:42
They're becoming very sophisticated.
193
0:14:42
0:14:43
Try it.
194
0:14:43
0:14:44
Check it out.
195
0:14:44
0:14:52
And it's a, it is a non opinion based testing mechanism for what's happening inside your
196
0:14:52
0:14:52
body.
197
0:14:52
0:14:55
It might be the 1% inside that you need.
198
0:14:56
0:15:03
My quote, as I mentioned earlier, is by Albert Einstein, make things as simple as possible,
199
0:15:03
0:15:04
but no simpler.
200
0:15:05
0:15:13
And that leads to my spiritual tip to encourage you to meditate on the complexity of your
201
0:15:13
0:15:19
desires, because one way in which you can embrace complexity for the human body and
202
0:15:19
0:15:23
soil and climate is to simplify your life.
203
0:15:23
0:15:28
Simplify your desires to be really clear about what you really want.
204
0:15:28
0:15:30
That's what the self awareness journey is about.
205
0:15:31
0:15:34
As Steve Wright famously said, you can't have it all.
206
0:15:34
0:15:36
Where would you put it?
207
0:15:37
0:15:43
So you have to make a decision and your self awareness says, I'm going to make my desires
208
0:15:43
0:15:44
as simple as possible.
209
0:15:44
0:15:47
So I'm more able to embrace complexity.
210
0:15:48
0:15:54
And then lastly, a spot of humor, a lawyer, an experienced lawyer comes up, comes up to
211
0:15:54
0:16:01
the young guy, the new employee in the law firm, standing beside the shredder.
212
0:16:02
0:16:06
And the lawyer has got two pieces of paper in his hand.
213
0:16:06
0:16:08
He says to the young guy, do you know how to work this thing?
214
0:16:08
0:16:09
And the young guy says, sure.
215
0:16:09
0:16:13
And so the lawyer gives the two bits of paper to the young guy and the young guy puts it
216
0:16:13
0:16:14
through the shredder.
217
0:16:14
0:16:18
As it's going through the shredder, the lawyer says, I'd just like two copies of that, please.
218
0:16:20
0:16:24
You see, the lawyer couldn't be bothered about learning about the different types of machine.
219
0:16:24
0:16:26
He wanted to keep his life simple.
220
0:16:27
0:16:28
He asked the wrong question.
221
0:16:28
0:16:31
He should have embraced a little bit more complexity.
222
0:16:32
0:16:38
The stuff ups that we all impose upon ourselves when we want to keep our lives simple.
223
0:16:38
0:16:45
So think about today's big idea of being willing to embrace complexity.
224
0:16:45
0:16:52
Don't fight for simplicity when it can't be present because it'll cause instability.
225
0:16:53
0:16:56
I think this will make a beneficial difference to your life.
226
0:16:56
0:17:01
It will remove your frustration that everything needs to be simple.
227
0:17:02
0:17:07
My aim for this show is to inspire you, motivate you, excite you about life.
228
0:17:07
0:17:13
About living the life of your dreams, a life that fulfills you, a life that you're clear about.
229
0:17:13
0:17:19
Where you have high levels of self-awareness about what that life would look like.
230
0:17:19

I invite you to subscribe to the podcast, to the YouTube channel, to the Rumble channel.

235
0:17:49
0:17:53
Now let's review some key happenings during the week.
236
0:17:54
0:18:00
I was very amused to see President Joe Biden and his State of the Union address.
237
0:18:00
0:18:07
Yes, it's remarkable how this absolute failure of a president shuffles around,
238
0:18:07
0:18:13
can't put a sentence together and people are pretending that he's making decisions.
239
0:18:13
0:18:16
He's just a puppet president there. Just keep observing that.
240
0:18:16
0:18:21
I've also had lots of referrals from people, references or links from people
241
0:18:21
0:18:24
who say that that is not actually Joe Biden.
242
0:18:24
0:18:26
Think and have a look at what he looked like.
243
0:18:26
0:18:28
Have a look at the material online about it.
244
0:18:28
0:18:31
Is this the real Joe Biden or is it a puppet?
245
0:18:32
0:18:37
The other big issue that's happening, another big issue that's happening is sudden deaths.
246
0:18:37
0:18:40
What a mystery that there's sudden deaths.
247
0:18:40
0:18:45
I say there's no sudden deaths. I say if you put poison into people, they will die.
248
0:18:46
0:18:49
They will have all sorts of heart problems.
249
0:18:49
0:18:55
And so what I urge anyone who has lost someone suddenly is to insist on an autopsy.
250
0:18:56
0:18:58
Push hard for an autopsy.
251
0:18:58
0:19:01
I've been helping a lady called Kerry on this issue.
252
0:19:01
0:19:09
The Brisbane Hospital has done a disgraceful job and effectively negligent homicide.
253
0:19:09
0:19:17
They put in place by ignoring what needed to be done to her husband, her 57-year-old husband.
254
0:19:17
0:19:22
And she's fighting for justice and she's fighting for a proper autopsy.
255
0:19:22
0:19:26
Sudden deaths are not a mystery, everybody.
256
0:19:27
0:19:33
The third issue is the dramatic increase in excess deaths over previous periods happening
257
0:19:33
0:19:34
all around the world.
258
0:19:35
0:19:36
Guess why they're happening.
259
0:19:36
0:19:42
Yes, I can't say on this, but there's some stuff being put into people that's causing
260
0:19:42
0:19:44
excess deaths.
261
0:19:44
0:19:46
The numbers are damning.
262
0:19:46
0:19:49
If you get a 2% or 3% excess death increase,
263
0:19:49
0:19:52
suddenly there'll be all around the mainstream news.
264
0:19:52
0:19:53
It is not about the mainstream.
265
0:19:53
0:19:57
It's not being published, but it's all available.
266
0:19:58
0:20:08
These excess deaths are a testimony to the bad decisions that are being made for humanity's health.
267
0:20:11
0:20:16
The fourth issue is the attempt by the World Health Organization to gain sovereignty over
268
0:20:16
0:20:19
all nations, including Australia, where I live.
269
0:20:20
0:20:25
The World Health Organization wants to be able to declare whatever it wants and to then claim
270
0:20:25
0:20:28
power over the people of each country.
271
0:20:28
0:20:29
Be aware of this.
272
0:20:29
0:20:31
It is outrageous.
273
0:20:31
0:20:36
It is taking away national sovereignty, all in the name of the good of humanity.
274
0:20:36
0:20:38
Again, I call BS on this.
275
0:20:38
0:20:46
Please do not accept how your local politicians, you do not want politicians to be bound by
276
0:20:46
0:20:54
decisions of an unelected organization called the World Health Organization that a friend of mine,
277
0:20:55
0:21:00
a highly experienced psychiatrist, a Jewish psychiatrist for that matter,
278
0:21:00
0:21:03
calls the World Holocaust Organization.
279
0:21:04
0:21:11
The other crucial issue that's arising is the concept of 15-minute cities or 20-minute cities.
280
0:21:11
0:21:12
Please find out about that.
281
0:21:12
0:21:19
It is an evil that's being perpetrated on you to limit you to not going outside a 15-minute radius
282
0:21:19
0:21:23
of your home, all in the name of climate emergency.
283
0:21:23
0:21:25
This also is evil.
284
0:21:28
0:21:35
Lastly, be aware that if your loved one is in hospital, make sure that you have a medical
285
0:21:35
0:21:36
power of attorney.
286
0:21:36
0:21:42
There are some horror stories happening in hospitals of people where hospitals and doctors
287
0:21:42
0:21:46
are not listening to the wishes of spouses because they don't have a medical power of attorney.
288
0:21:47
0:21:52
Do not let someone go into a hospital that you love if that person is not going to be able to be
289
0:21:52
0:21:55
fully accomplished to make their decisions.
290
0:21:55
0:22:03
Most people in the hospital are confused by the complexity imposed upon them by the system,
291
0:22:03
0:22:11
by the protocols, by evidence-based medicine, not medicine based on the needs of you, of your loved
292
0:22:11
0:22:11
one.
293
0:22:11
0:22:17
Make sure you get a medical power of attorney, otherwise you are risking significant harm.
294
0:22:18
0:22:25
Then while all that's going on, Julie and I maintain our healthy lifestyle.
295
0:22:25
0:22:26
I keep exercising.
296
0:22:26
0:22:29
I urge you to maintain your exercise regime.
297
0:22:29
0:22:32
It doesn't matter what's happening, it doesn't matter how busy you are.
298
0:22:32
0:22:35
You must look after this wonderful machine that we've got.
299
0:22:35
0:22:40
Balance the mental, the physical, the spiritual, and particularly by listening to and watching
300
0:22:40
0:22:42
programs like this.
301
0:22:44
0:22:46
All right, well we're getting close.
302
0:22:46
0:22:52
If you're new to the show, please stick around to get some more background about me and to dig
303
0:22:52
0:22:55
into the foundational principles of this show.
304
0:22:57
0:22:59
Thanks for watching or listening.
305
0:23:00
0:23:02
Thanks for sharing this show.
306
0:23:02
0:23:03
Thanks for subscribing.
307
0:23:04
0:23:08
Until next week, may your week be full of passion.
308
0:23:08
0:23:09
Be full of exploration.
309
0:23:09
0:23:12
Be full of the willingness to embrace complexity.
310
0:23:12
0:23:19
And be full of opportunities to increase your self-awareness so you live life on your terms.
311
0:23:19
0:23:20
Thanks for being here.
312
0:23:20
0:23:21
See you next week.
313
0:23:22
0:23:22
Bye.
314
0:23:38
0:23:45
Listeners who want to know more about my background and what else I do with my life as well as the
315
0:23:45
0:23:47
foundational principles of the show.
316
0:23:47
0:23:48
Here we are.
317
0:23:48
0:23:54
Since 1993 when I left my legal career, a career that I love to become Australasian
318
0:23:54
0:24:02
passion provocateur, I have inspired and provoked and educated and motivated people
319
0:24:02
0:24:05
all over the world to discover and pursue their passion.
320
0:24:05
0:24:10
I have helped people via the books that I've written, via speeches at conferences,
321
0:24:11
0:24:19
via in-depth team building programs, workshops over one, two or three days or over three
322
0:24:19
0:24:19
months, six months.
323
0:24:20
0:24:25
And I've coached people of all ages one-on-one from small, medium and large enterprises,
324
0:24:25
0:24:33
government enterprises, helping them to identify the often tiny changes that can make a massive
325
0:24:33
0:24:34
difference.
326
0:24:35
0:24:40
One of my core principles is that freedom is what makes us truly human.
327
0:24:41
0:24:46
That's why one of the greatest threats that government imposes on you to force you to
328
0:24:46
0:24:52
observe its laws is the threat of imprisonment, the loss of your freedom.
329
0:24:52
0:24:53
Just think about that.
330
0:24:53
0:24:56
Government says if you don't behave yourself, we're going to put you in jail.
331
0:24:56
0:24:57
No, no, I don't want to go to jail.
332
0:24:57
0:24:58
I don't want to lose my freedom.
333
0:25:00
0:25:04
That's a reminder to you of why freedom is so important.
334
0:25:04
0:25:09
Without freedom, you and I are not much different to animals.
335
0:25:09
0:25:14
If you were locked up in a cage for the rest of your life, how different would you be to
336
0:25:14
0:25:14
an animal?
337
0:25:15
0:25:22
This commitment to fighting for freedoms for all people is carried out by me primarily
338
0:25:22
0:25:24
through five channels.
339
0:25:24
0:25:29
Number one, preserving the freedom to pursue your passion.
340
0:25:29
0:25:36
Number two, inspiring you to be able to be free through excellent health.
341
0:25:36
0:25:43
Number three, helping preserve freedom throughout the world through the expansion of
342
0:25:43
0:25:51
industrial hemp, a magnificent agricultural crop, an almost miraculous crop that enables
343
0:25:51
0:25:56
every community to thrive independently of government.
344
0:25:57
0:26:02
In this way, the power of government to take away freedom is minimized.
345
0:26:03
0:26:08
Number four, fighting for freedom through legal strategies.
346
0:26:08
0:26:13
So I do work as a legal strategy consultant as an interface between clients and their
347
0:26:13
0:26:13
lawyers.
348
0:26:14
0:26:19
And number five, as chairman of the Australian Institute of Comedy and as a board member of
349
0:26:19
0:26:26
the Australian Cartoon Museum, fighting for the freedom of thought and speech through
350
0:26:27
0:26:37
uncensored comedy and humour, through avoiding political correctness in the comedic space.
351
0:26:38
0:26:42
When you block freedom of speech, freedom of thought, that's the beginning of the end
352
0:26:42
0:26:43
of your freedoms.
353
0:26:44
0:26:48
The foundational principles for the Charles Kovasz Show are founded on the formula
354
0:26:49
0:26:52
S A plus P equals S.
355
0:26:53
0:26:58
Your self-awareness added to your passion will guarantee that you are successful.
356
0:26:59
0:27:03
And the best definition of success I have found in life is that success is the progressive
357
0:27:03
0:27:07
realization of your worthy ideals.
358
0:27:07
0:27:10
The progressive realization of your worthy ideals.
359
0:27:11
0:27:15
This show is also guided by Socrates' famous principle and quote,
360
0:27:15
0:27:17
the unexamined life is not worth living.
361
0:27:18
0:27:19
You can see I'm wearing my red jacket.
362
0:27:19
0:27:21
I wear my red jacket for all my shows.
363
0:27:21
0:27:28
Red is the colour of passion so that when you see me on the YouTube version, it reminds you
364
0:27:28
0:27:35
that when you see red in your life, you ask yourself the question, am I pursuing my passion?
365
0:27:35
0:27:36
What am I passionate about?
366
0:27:36
0:27:38
Am I still passionate about that?
367
0:27:38
0:27:40
What might I newly be passionate about?
368
0:27:41
0:27:44
Each week I explore one big idea that can change your life.
369
0:27:45
0:27:49
And it's just one big idea because there's a chance you will remember if I give you too
370
0:27:49
0:27:53
many ideas, then we get confused and we don't do anything.
371
0:27:54
0:27:56
Clarity leads to power.
372
0:27:56
0:27:58
Confusion kills passion.
373
0:27:59
0:28:05
Each week I share simple and practical resources that you've heard me describe in the earlier
374
0:28:05
0:28:05
part of the show.
375
0:28:06
0:28:13
A spiritual tip, a health tip, lyrics of a song, a book, a quote, and of course humour.
376
0:28:13
0:28:14
This show is not politically correct.
377
0:28:14
0:28:17
I have no intention of being politically correct.
378
0:28:17
0:28:21
And I love certain addictions including my addiction to great coffee,
379
0:28:26
0:28:28
my addiction to exercise, my addiction to reading,
380
0:28:29
0:28:35
and my addiction to certain other unmentionable in public type behaviours.
381
0:28:35
0:28:36
Who would know what they are?
382
0:28:37
0:28:42
This show definitely subscribes to the view that we have a spiritual life.
383
0:28:42
0:28:47
So if you don't like discussion of spirituality, this show is not for you.
384
0:28:48
0:28:52
I promise you that I don't include anything in this show that I don't consider to be true
385
0:28:52
0:28:58
and that I have not found to be useful in the work that I've done over the past 28 years,
386
0:28:58
0:29:03
but also over the past 50 years in business as a lawyer, as a consultant advisor.
387
0:29:04
0:29:08
I only want to share stuff with you that is of value to you.
388
0:29:08
0:29:12
Finally, if you have any questions or suggestions,
389
0:29:12
0:29:15
please feel free to contact me at Charles at Covest.com.
390
0:29:15
0:29:18
Again, thanks for watching and listening to my show.
391
0:29:18
0:29:26
Bye.
